Live. Love. Grow.

Weekly Greeting from Pastor Mark

Dear Friends,

What a glorious day! We have so much to be thankful for. Last night, we began our church dinners on the second Wednesday of each month. There was so much delicious food. I am sorry if you missed the potluck but October 12th is the next church dinner. It will be a chili cookoff which is a lot of fun. Plan on sharing your favorite recipe or one you want to try. Please let us know if you are coming. The church will provide drinks, crackers, cheese, and ice cream. You bring the chili and brownies. It’ll be fun.

Our Adopt a Family Nurses Needs is a little light so while shopping, pick up a package of children’s underpants, a shirt, and pants. It will help the nurses so much to have a ready supply. It can be used as clothing but look closely for wear and tear.

Our Hand Bell ensemble has 10 musicians so if you would like to learn or have the gift of music, there is room for you. Please contact Todd Oberlin or show up Mondays at 6:30 p.m. Childcare is provided for moms and dads with children.

Some of us see better when we use large print so every week we will offer a large print bulletin. Please ask your worship host for a large print copy and they will be happy to provide it to you.

In an effort to stay transparent, I will have copies of our council meeting notes available over the next week. Copies will be available in the office on the table across from Judy’s desk.

Did you know we share information about the church and our activities on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram? Please check us out and share those sites with your friends. While you’re at it, ask them to join you on Sunday in worship. Tell them you’ll buy them a cup of coffee and a donut. Our café is lovely and the company is so friendly.

See you on Sunday, Pastor Mark
