Dear Friends: 
  A friendly reminder, move your clocks up one hour Saturday night as Daylight Savings begins this coming Sunday, March 8, 2020.

We are in week two of Lent. I hope you have been able to observe your goal of a holy lent with extra time in prayer, meditation or a fast. I know the busyness of life fills our days so do take a moment, slow down and experience the presence of God. Our sermon series, Silent Compassion, will focus on Pathways of Compassion. We are sympathetic to many concerns and offer aid when it presents itself but how do we know God’s presence or character? This week we will tackle the concept of knowing God and how we understand the Trinity.

Don’t forget, Donna Norman our office manager will be retiring Sunday, March 15th. We will have one service at 10 a.m. followed by a carry in dinner. Your appreciation of Donna’s good work over the past 13 years can be expressed in cards and financial gifts on that day. A special basket will be available. Children’s Church needs a helper for the 10:00 am service.

We welcome Judy Hill our new office manager who began on Monday. Donna is showing Judy the procedures of WUMC, so stop by and say hello. Office hours are Monday – Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m..
