We-Mail from Pastor Mark

Dear Friends:

What a difference a day will make; it feels like fall and how sweet it is. I hope you like the cooler temps and fall colors as nature will soon put on a beautiful display.
This Sunday is special as we end our current sermon series with the theme, “An Encouraging Community,” by sending teams after 10:30 worship into community service:
Prep the Community Garden for winter(Lana Nack/Herb McGill)
Install a Free Library (Brian VanNierop)
Distribute water at the soccer field (Patrick Randolph)
Sort Coats for Crisis Nursery (Lisa Morgenthaler/Donna Norman)
Distribute lunches to the homeless (Youth Group)
Play music at Heritage Assisted Living (No Strings Attached)
Pray for residents on Wall Street (Chuck Howington)
After a short 10:30 worship service, teams will gather at 11 a.m. and disburse from there. Most activities will take 10-30 minutes so select a team, bring comfortable shoes and join the fun. Everyone is welcome to participate.

October Newsletter
The October newsletter will be sent in a separate email attachment later today. If you don’t receive it, please contact the church office. It is also posted on the church Web site, livelovegrow.org, and hard copies are available in the lobby wall racks.
See you on Sunday,

Pastor Mark
