Dear Friends:

I hope your travels were safe over the Thanksgiving holiday and your memories of loved ones warmly embrace you.

This coming Sunday we will celebrate the second week of Advent with the theme of “Peace.” Our Scripture comes from Isaiah 11:1-3, 6-9. The prophet describes a time when there is no violence, no anger, no rage or abuse. Can you imagine such a scene? We’ll talk more about this on Sunday.

On Sunday afternoon, a terrific concert will feature our Wentzville UMC Adult and Youth Handbell Choirs. The bells start ringing at 3 p.m. in the Sanctuary with refreshments to follow. Invite a friend and come enjoy the sounds of joy and Christmas cheer!
