Dear Friends:

I am thankful for the wonderful support we received for our Youth Group last evening. We served over 60 people and raised more than $500 for the Youth Mission trip to Louisville, Kentucky and our Ignite Mobile Camp next summer. Thank you!

Annual Turkey Dinner and Holiday Bazaar

Our United Methodist Women will open the doors this coming Saturday, November 16th from 4-7 p.m. for their annual Turkey Dinner and Holiday Bazaar. It will be delicious! Invite your friends and bring your family; you’ll be glad you did. There will be take-outs available. Tickets are purchased at the door: $12 for adults and $5 for children, ages 6-12.

2019-2020 Concert Series James Farquhar, cellist, and several of his musician friends will be with us on Sunday, 11/17 at 4:30 pm in the Sanctuary. James accompanied our choir and orchestra for both the Easter and Christmas cantatas last year. This tremendous concert is FREE and open to the public. Don’t miss it!

The Central Methodist University Chorale will be here on Sunday, 11/24 at 7 pm in the Christian Life Center. HOUSING ALERT! We still need housing for 10 singers on Sunday night, 11/24. If you have 2 or more extra beds to share, check the Connect Card on Sunday or call the church office. You can be a Bed & Breakfast for CMU!

This Sunday our Scripture continues from 2 Thessalonians 3:6-13. The Apostle Paul is providing his example and instruction for fruitful discipleship. I look forward to seeing you and hearing more about Paul’s and your good work for the Kingdom of God and discipleship in Christ.
