Dear Friends:

We had a great Wednesday night. The St. Louis Cardinals were defeating the Atlanta Braves for the Division Playoffs and our Chili Cook-off was a great
success. We went from 2 pots of chili on Sunday to 15 on Wednesday along
with 65 for dinner. Todd Oberlin had the winning chili, congratulations
Todd. The proceeds will benefit our Sanctuary Improvement Fund. There are a few ideas in the works so stay tuned.

This week we will observe Children’s Sabbath. Our littlest members will have leadership roles during worship. I look forward to seeing them and baptizing Parker Stone at the second service.
