Good Evening, Friends:

We have dodged another tornadic night, and thankfully all is well in Wentzville and our community of faith. Let us keep the folks in Eldon and Jefferson City in our prayers as they have significant damage from storms last night.

Our plans are coming together for Ignite Mobile Camp, July 8-12. We have room for several “Relationship Builders” to help the group leader and build relationships with each camper in their class. Our goal is to offer God’s love to each camper for a great experience, and to come to know Christ in a wholesome environment.

This coming Sunday is part of Memorial Day Weekend, so we offer prayers for protected travel to those leaving on vacation or camping trips. We are grateful for our military and those who faithfully served. I am especially thankful for those who died in service to their country. God bless those who loved and remember the soldiers, sailors, airmen, marines and many others who gave their lives in service.

Our scripture for Sunday is John 14:23-29. Take a look and consider what you have learned through study of the Holy Bible, Sunday school teachers and guidance from the Holy Spirit. It’s more than you realize.
