Dear Friends:

We are happy to be back from moving our daughter Sarah to Austin, TX. She is starting a new adventure and living closer to her fiancé. The wedding is August 17th.

My thanks to Dan Powers for leading worship and bringing an inspired message last Sunday. I’ll try to live up to his good example.

Gateway Ringers Bell Concert – At 4 p.m. this Sunday, 5/19, we welcome the Gateway Ringers Handbell Choir to our church for their spring concert, “Carnival of the Animals.” They are an auditioned community choir comprised of ringers from the St. Louis metropolitan area. They may be as good as our bell choir so come find out. The concert is free and open to the public, and a free will offering will be taken.

Church Directory Update – Our new pictorial directory was distributed in January, and it’s time for the first “Seasonal Update.” Stop by the Connections Center on Sunday for a copy of recent changes. If you don’t have the pictorial directory, it will be available on Sunday. As a reminder, if you move or change any of your contact information, please let us know.

Our Scripture this week is John 13:31-35 with the focus on “Love One Another.” Jesus gave us a new command, so how do we know what to do and follow his instructions? We’ll talk about it on Sunday.
