We-Mail from Pastor Mark

Dear Friends:

It was a joy to attend church on Easter Sunday as a tremendous worship service was provided by our adult choir, praise band and orchestra. If you were unable to attend there is a video available on our Facebook page. I highly recommend sharing it with your friends.

This Sunday we take a breath from our Easter celebration and imagine Jesus suddenly appearing in a locked room with his disciples. They were shocked and amazed, but he calmed their fears and offered them his peace. He breathed the Spirit of God into them, passing on his mission and purpose. We too have received God’s Spirit in Christ and continue that same mission and purpose. Take a look at John 20:19-31 to prime your spirit for this Sunday’s worship.

Registration for our summer Ignite Mobile Camp is available. Camp begins on Monday, 7/8 and runs through Friday, 7/12. This is a day camp from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Information postcards are available in the church Connections Center. Register online at www.nextgencamps.org/wentz or visit our church web site at livelovegrow.org.

A big thank you to Sandie Briggs who has served as our lead custodian for over 20 years. She is stepping down to spend more time with her family and grandchildren.  Kim Walton is our new custodian for the west side of the building, and she begins work this Saturday. Anne Hansen continues as our custodian for the east side of the facility.

See you on Sunday,

Pastor Mark
