Dear Friends:  

I think we are getting accustomed to the cold, blustery days of winter (oh no, we’re not). The recent days have been a challenge so stayed tuned and hopefully mother nature will be kind on Sunday. If there is ice or snow on the lot or the roads are dangerous, we will notify everyone via the website, church telephone message and Sunday morning closure updates for the three St. Louis networks (Channels 2, 4 and 5). 

The February Newsletter is being sent later today in a separate email. If you do not receive it please notify the church office. Hard copies are available in the church lobby wall racks.  We are beginning a new sermon series, “Freed 2 Lead,” so the emphasis this coming Sunday is from Luke 22:24-27 when Jesus speaks to his disciples about servant leadership. I look forward to sharing with you the idea that all of us have something to share and at times will be leaders for those who do not know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. What better gift than your testimony of how Christ transformed your life. It’s a powerful tale.   Additionally each service has something very special, so come expecting to be very pleased.
