Live. Love. Grow.

We-Mail from Pastor Mark

Dear Friends,

We had a fine time under the big top tent last weekend. The kickoff to the Concert Series was great and our Sunday morning worship was terrific. I hope you were able to see or experience some part or all of the events of the weekend. This Sunday we will offer a pancake breakfast from 8-9:30 a.m. followed by worship at 10 a.m. It was a big hit on July 4th and the team wanted to do it again so here we go. The proceeds of the breakfast will benefit our Benevolence ministry. Each month we assist sojourners and families needing help with utilities or a place to stay for the night. It makes a difference to offer God’s peace and love.

I want to thank the many people who offered to help this past weekend. We had volunteered who set up chairs and tables, cooking brats and hot dogs, scooping snow cones, and serving lunch on Sunday. The takedown and putting everything away was tremendous so thank you all for your good work and willing spirits. Also a huge thank you to Redeemed for their great music on Sunday. What a blessing you are!

This Sunday we begin a discussion regarding our faith from the book of James. Take a look at James 2:1-10, 14-17 and consider the question, “What good is it?” We’re talking about faith and works.

See you on Sunday, Breakfast at 8 – 9:30 and worship at 10 a.m.. Pastor Mark
