Dear Friends,
Congratulations to our graduates, Sean, Megan, Macy, Ben, Travis, and Clayton. Your summer will go by quickly and you’ll begin an entirely different adventure. Our prayers go with you. This means everyone in the lower grades moves up to the next grade. We look forward to seeing you this summer and especially before school starts as we are planning a special recognition and prayer for you. Have fun and be safe!
The COVID19 pandemic is less of a threat as more people are vaccinated. I hope you have taken to receive the “jab”. We will relax our current policy of wearing a mask into and out of worship on Sunday, June 20th. When you are seated it is okay to remove your mask and enjoy worship. We have coffee and packaged pastries available before and after worship so help yourself to a cup of coffee and conversation in the café.
We are planning a special worship service on Sunday, July 4th for Independence Day with a pancake breakfast from 8-9:30 in the café. Proceeds will go to pay down our mortgage so prepare to be generous!
This week we are looking at John 1: 1-9. The “Word” of God and its many ways of lighting our darkness. There’s no hiding from God and God’s brilliant light. Take a look and we’ll talk more on Sunday.
By the way, we are looking for a part-time custodian 6-8 hours per week and nursery care workers so that we can fully open our nursery. If you have someone in mind for the summer give the office a call.
See you on Sunday, Pastor Mark
