The Summer of Love
The phrase ‘The Summer of Love’ will have different meanings for different people. For some, it might refer to 1967, where thousands converged on San Francisco, part of a cultural and political rebellion. For others, it might refer to the summer when they fell in love, or that they love not having school! In June and July, the United Methodist Church at Wentzville will celebrate “The Summer of Love” by looking at the difference Jesus’ Great Commandment—to love God, neighbor, and self—can make as individuals, as families, and as the church.
