Wentzville United Methodist Church

Weekly Greeting from Pastor Mark

What a joy it is to serve WUMC! Our congregation has life and activities galore. I hope you are planning to attend the Open Mic Night, Friday September 9th at 6:30 p.m.. Our United Women of Faith have planned a great learning time Saturday, September 10th at noon – 3 p.m.. It’s that time of year when great weather is upon us for football and other fall activities so keep WUMC in mind. We will be here to worship, fellowship and to serve Christ in this wonderful community. Don’t forget the Adopt A Family Golf tournament Saturday, October 1st. Kermit Sandorf or Lisa Morganthaler would be happy to include you as a golfer or volunteer.

Over the next two weeks we will be collecting items for the Monday, September 12th from 10-noon we will distribute food from the St. Louis Food Bank. No questions or qualifications, just pull up and receive a blessing. If you know someone that would be blessed to receive this, bring them or pick it up and take it to them. It is meant to be a blessing. We do have room for volunteers so come at 8:30 a.m. to help prep and become a God’s blessing.

This week we will read Luke 15:1-10 in worship and consider what is lost and how God has found us. I look forward to seeing you and being in worship together.

God bless us every one, Pastor Mark
