We-Mail from Pastor Mark
Merry Christmas! We are making final preparations for our Christmas Eve services and Sunday morning. Our prayer is for your joy to be complete as we celebrate the birth of God’s only Begotten Son, Jesus. Many of us are planning to gather with family close by or across the country so travel safely and use caution in large crowds. Our prayers go with you for safe travel and joyful return home from a satisfying visit. My children are in Austin, TX and Denver, CO this year so we will visit via Facetime. Thankfully their packages arrived and a little Christmas joy will be shared.
Christmas Eve services: 5 p.m. is our modern style of music and 7 p.m. will be more traditional with hymns of our faith. The message will be one of good cheer as we celebrate the birth of Christ. We will conclude both services with Holy Communion and candle lit Silent Night.
Sunday morning, December 26 will offer a breakfast from 8:30-9:30 a.m.. Worship will be at 10 a.m. with a mixture of hymns and modern songs of our faith. It will be good to gather and share our joy and love.
I wish you a Merry Christmas. God bless you and keep you safe. This year we can gather as we worship our Savior and share in the joy of new birth in our hearts and faith.
