Wentzville United Methodist Church

We-Mail from Pastor Mark

Dear Friends,

The frost is on the pumpkin this morning as temperatures dipped below 32 degrees. Hopefully, you are bundled up and ready for the colors of Fall and crisp air while working in the yard or walking in the park.

This Saturday we have an event planned for our Concert Series: Lindley Creek band and Riven Quartet will be here Saturday, November 6th in the Christian Life Center at 6:30 p.m.

Bring a friend.Sunday we turn the clocks back one hour as daylight savings ends. Don’t forget to turn your clock back at bedtime or you’ll be attending the second service. We will observe All Saints on Sunday. There are eleven friends and loved ones who have died this past year. Please come to honor them and to increase your faith by their memory and testimony. Also, your 2022 Stewardship Commitment will be received during Holy Communion. This commitment helps our Finance team and Church Council to look forward and plan for the coming year. It is our way to plan ahead and participate in the life of the church. If you are making no changes, simply write: “same” and we will continue your previous commitment to God’s work at WUMC.

Are you planning to attend the UMW Turkey Dinner? It’s Wednesday, November 10th from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Our Wednesday dinner is hosted this year by the UMW. They will have a Bazaar in the lobby as well.

I am glad you call WUMC your church home. I look forward to being in worship together, in person or via the internet. Let us worship God with all of our hearts, minds, soul, and strength. Pastor Mark
