Wentzville United Methodist Church

We-Mail from Pastor Mark

Dear Friends,

We are gathering for worship on Sunday so please wear your mask/face covering, keep a six foot social distance from one another and if you have been exposed to a positive COVID19 case or feel ill, stay home and quarantine. We all must do our part to keep one another safe and healthy. Every day we hear news reports of positive cases in the thousands or of a friend who is ill. Please be vigilant and stay safe.

We are wrapping up our 2021 Stewardship Campaign so please complete your commitment card and mail it in, drop it off at church or bring it with you to worship. Let’s shoot for 100% participation. You can do it!

Thanksgiving is next week so let us give thanks for our many blessings. My family is determining what is best for us and we have downsized our normal celebration but our hearts of grateful for God’s goodness.

If you enjoy a good fire, Kermit Sandorf and Ed Liliensiek are planning a bonfire Saturday evening starting at 4:30 p.m.. Hot dogs, smore’s and bottled water will be available. It will be at the end of the parking lot at church.

Advent begins Sunday, November 29th. We will decorate several Christmas trees and the church lobby following worship at 1130 this Sunday. Come join the fun.

Our Advent sermon series is called: “Those Who Dream.” We have daily devotion booklets (one per household) also for families with children and youth, we have Advent Calendars with treats for the holiday. Come pick yours up or call the church for delivery. It will help to make your Christmas season special.

God bless us every one, Pastor Mark
