Wentzville United Methodist Church

We-Mail from Judy

Dear Church Family,

As Mark and Chris are hopefully enjoying some much needed time away to refill their cups, please join me in raising them up in our prayers for safe travels. Mark will be back in the office next week.

I definitely joined the staff at a unique time. I have been welcomed so warmly and for that I thank you. Keeping everyone safe has been of the utmost importance followed by keeping our congregation connected as best we can. The staff is continuing to put our creative thinking caps on in order to keep you connected.  If you have feedback or suggestions, please feel free to let us know.  Over the last several months we have seen small groups start to meet and in-person worship has been such a blessing.  It has been wonderful to see the life come back into this building.

This week I am honored to be your guest speaker and share the message. The reading comes from Romans 8:28,31-39. The scripture reminds us that nothing in creation can separate us from the love of God.  Sometimes we can feel so far away from the love of Jesus Christ, especially in a time such as now where we can’t be connected in the same way we have in the past. Let us be reminded that we have to stay intentional and focused on God.

I look forward to seeing you either in person or on Facebook on Sunday.

Many Blessings –
Judy Hill
