We-Mail from Pastor Mark

Dear Friends,

Galatians 6:9 “So let us not grow weary in doing what is right, for we will reap at harvest time if we do not give up.” It has been so long since we were in worship and visited one another. As time passes, our hearts grow fonder and long to be with one another. Hold steady friends. The time will come when we can worship in the house of the Lord and rejoice. It will come!

This week we are honoring our graduating seniors: Ethan Haas, Peyton Hoenig, and Maddy Kolarik. The customary celebrations have been limited but our prayers and love go with them into a bright and welcoming future. They have worked hard and deserve to be recognized. Please tune in on Sunday. They will choose the service that is best for them and we will hear their thoughts and aspirations for the future. We have prayer blankets for them that Nancy Bradley, Linda Greenwood, and Elaine Gilmore helped to prepare. Thank you all for your good work.

Our scripture Sunday comes from John 14:15-21. Jesus instructs his disciples and makes promises that he will keep. How does that help us to live our lives and remain focused on the work at hand? What goals and aspirations do we have that work in a world that has changed over the past weeks? Let’s talk about it on Sunday.

God bless us, everyone,
Pastor Mark
