We-Mail from Pastor Mark
I am so excited for this coming Sunday. We are remembering our baptism! Many of us were babies or youth who most likely do not remember, but as adults we can cherish the rich words of God’s promise and make our profession of faith. It is a powerful moment to be in God’s presence and to recall the words and emotions of His expression of grace. I look forward to sharing it with you as we hear God’s word and feel the Holy Spirit move among us.
Our Scripture this Sunday is Isaiah 42:1-9, so take a look and re-read those words spoken so long ago. Meditate on them and allow God’s promise to enfold you. It’s powerful.
Thank you to everyone who came out last night for our first 2020 Wednesday Night Church Dinner. The food was delicious and the fellowship even better. I look forward to the coming year and the many moments of experiencing God’s presence and meeting new friends. Our Church Council is ready and eager to support the congregation as we seek to “Live for God, Love Our Neighbor and Grow in Christ.”
God bless us every one,
